About Me

As a classroom teacher for more than 15 years, I have had the privilege of teaching many different grade levels from elementary school to high school English classes. I am an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher who has always had a love of reading and literacy. After my daughters were born, I developed a passion for ealy literacy and the science behind how students learn to read and began training to become a Reading Specialist. I have stepped out of the traditional classroom setting, and I now serve as a private reading instruction and intervention teacher where I work with students of all ages to strengthen their reading skills and build their reading foundations.
