Tuesday/Thursday: Auburn, 9-2 p.m.

    Session Types 

o  Private (1 student)

• 45 minute or 1-hour session

• 1 or 2 days a week

o  Group (2-3 students*)

                     *must have similar reading goals/levels

•  1-hour session ONLY

• 1 or 2 days a week

    Weekly Session Prices

o  Private 45 min: 1 day $45 / 2 days $80

o  Private 1 hour: 1 day $60 / 2 days $110 

o  Group 1 hour: 1 day $45 / 2 days $80

Instructional Goals

Students will be assessed prior to instruction to identify specific areas of reading that need development. Depending on the assessment results, students will receive instruction in one or more of the following essential components of reading:

• Phonemic Awareness

• Phonics

• Fluency

• Vocabulary Development

• Reading Comprehension

Curriculum: UFLI Foundations, Barton Reading and Spelling, Foundations in Sounds, Heggerty Phonemic Awareness, CORE Literacy: The Teaching Reading Sourcesbook, David Kilpatrick: Equipped for Reading Success, Marilyn Adams: Phonemic Awareness in Young Children, The Secret Stories, GEODES, CKLA, Teacher Created Materials, etc.
